I have a chinchilla and i have had him for about one year almost. Bought him at petsmart. But there is something wrong with his eye. It was swollen and some stuff was coming out of it. SO i washed his eye and for about a week or so his eye looked alot better. But here recently it started to look worse. Most of the time he keeps his eye shut and when he comes to say hi to me its hardly ever open. Its very hard to find a vet in AUstin tx that can take care of chinchillas problems. So if anybody can please tell me whats wrong with him i would greatly appreciate it. I would hate for him to go blind in one eye.
