I have a 17 month old Siamese cat who has retained testicles. He has been operated on both in the abdomen and in the groin area when he was 6 months old but the vet was unable to find either testicle. For the past few months he has been spraying indoors and we are at our wits end what to do with him! He has also had the hormone tests to determine whether or not he is producing testosterone, these tests only confirmed what we already knew! I feel that my vet is not interested in trying to help ... I don’t think the sprays etc will help as he never seems to do it in the same place twice. We have tried spraying him with water ... shouting and throwing him outside when he does it... which he HATES... but nothing works he just come back in and does it again!!! I know all these things don’t work but I’m really stuck with what to do next! We have 2 other cats and he makes their life a misery by disturbing them with constant moaning and trying to mount them!! Apart from this he is a very loving cat ... not aggressive at all ... I would hate to have him euthanized because of this but I really do not know what to do with him!! PLEASE HELP!!
