Head tilting in a deaf cat

Rating: 8
Wednesday
Wednesday

My cat is deaf - and has always been so as far as I know. She often tilts her head to the side or right back... also her balance is not that great. She is a rescued cat - and spend most of her time in a cage before I got her.

Just curious as to why she tilts her head - and whether there are likely to be any problems causing her to do this? Also, whether her lack of balance and occasional clumsiness are likely to be from deafness or being confined for the first year or so of her life (she was kept in a cage full-time before being rescued by the SPCA
