William Doom
I gave my gerbil (male, age unknown but had him for about 6 months) meal worms from the pet store (they were plenty for one gerbil so I gave some to my neighbor who has two hamsters) the next day he was sluggish and one eye had red puss coming out. He is very boney now after a full day has passed, he tries to eat but cant finish a morsel. He tries to do some common activities like running on a wheel but looses balance and falls out.(probably because the eye is shut) Mostly stands still after a while or walks somewhere rather than an energetic hop.
