My eight year old boy started loosing weight a couple weeks ago, and i also noticed his inner eyelids are swolen, or showing, covering half of his eyes. he sleeps all the time, usualy lying on his side. he has no energy at all, and wasent eating verry much. he was on dry food, but he seems to eat more if i give him the wet food, so thats what iv been doing. I have seen the vet 2 times now for this, and hes not better yet. bloodwork was done, as well as an xray, he is on antibiotics and eye ointment. the xray shows that he has an enlarged heart, but the vet dosent think this has anything to do with the symptomes. h was also given an antibiotic shot, a b12 shot and some laxative. does anyone have any clue what this might be? has anyone ever experienced this with a cat before?
