He tends to wipe his nose/mouth area with his paw when he makes these noises.
After a trip to the vet, he was Baytril and he has been on it for two days but still makes this noise. His appetite is good. He drinks fine. Has energy. The vet said his lungs are good and he gained 10 grams in weight. He doesn't have a crusted over nose. His eyes aren't watery. He poops fine. I've given him probiotics in between doses of Baytril so his appetite doesn't slip.
Are these signs of respiratory infection/cold? IF it is, how long will it take for Baytril to start working and if it isn't, what could it be diagnosed as? Do I have to get an xray to find out? Please help! I'm concerned because my vet didn't seem very knowledgeable about exotics and seemed to guess that he has a respiratory infection/cold based on my observations that i described to her (the video was recorded after the trip to the vet). Help!
