we have had a puppie for 1 day now. so far he has puked twice peed 4 times big ones. has not pooped yet and sleeps alot. and acts either sick or sad.

I am sorry for the late response to your question. Your puppy may be experiencing separation anxiety. Puppies experience this when they are separated with their mother and litter-mates. The food that you gave him may be the reason for his vomiting and constipation. You did not indicate the age of your puppy but if you feed him new food, then vomiting and constipation can occur. It is better to ask the breeder what kind of food they are feeding him and gradually introduce the new food. It is a must that you bring your puppy to a vet to make sure he is healthy. You may consider giving your puppy vaccinations for his protection. At 12-16 weeks (3-4 months) puppies should be vaccinated for Leptospirosis, Lyme, and Coronavirus. Rabies vaccine are also given in puppies starting at 12 weeks old. Take care and good luck.
