my cat fell into used motor oil 2 day ago and im worried about her. She hasnt drank or eaten very much and seems bored or sluggish. I washed her when I found her like that and just gave her a second bath trying to clean her hair better. I used almost a whole bottle of dawn dish soap. How do I know if it absorbed through her skin or she licked some and it is enough to hurt? Shes not throwing up or falling over but doesnt seem quite herself. She looks thinner to me, I opened tuna to see if that would entice her but she licked at the liquid for a second and walked away.
Im mostly worried about her not drinking or eating much, I have a second cat so Im not sure how much she has ate but my husband said he saw her eating a little when he came home @7 hours ago but it couldnt have been much. Please help, When should I take her to the vet, what should I watch for and can I do anything?
