My dog is very lethargic and panting a lot. We went to the vet yesterday and they took blood, urine, etc...., but she seems to have gotten worse. I took her temperature today and it is 101.3...normal. She is just very out of it, and seems to be depressed. Also the panting and breathing heavily is bad. She's a golden retriever, 7 years old, on thyroid medication(soloxine), has allergies(takes an antihistamine daily too), and tends to have a very sensitive belly. She may also be having an increase in the number of times she is urinating. Or it just may be because of the hot weather, and I am giving her a lot more water daily. I don't know if I should take her to the emergency room or wait for the test results on Monday. Also i had been feeding her a bit more food cause she seemed hungry all the time, so she gained 5 pounds. The vet says she is overweight now and needs to loose it. Please help:( I am so scared for her!
