My cat has stomatitis. We were treating it with steroid injections until she developed DKA. Since then, we have not been treating the stomatitis. When she was first diagnosed with stomatitis she did have some teeth extracted. But, no medicine for the stomatitis in over a year now. The vet mentioned laser therapy but I do not with to spend that much money at this point. Is there something that she could take with the diabetes? Should she be taking something? It just seems like to me before she developed DKA, it was like we HAD to treat the stomatitis. And then now nothing. I am just kind of puzzled by that.
