Urinary Infection

Hi,
My cat has a urinary infection and the vet gave him Baytril 68 mg, which I have gave 1/2 pill for the last 10 days. A few days after starting the medication he seemed to be doing better, not going to litter box as often and I was able to hear him pee when he did go. Tonight however, after giving the medicine I noticed the same old signs. He continues to go to litter box very often, every few minutes and only dribbles. I have been giving the Baytril with a pill popper so I'm sure that he has got every dose. I always wait a few minutes to make sure he doesn't spit it out or anything like that. Do you have any suggestions?
