am i feeding her correctly
Posted on 2008/02/05 by latriceI have a female German Shepherd Dog and she's 6 months. I took her to get her 3rd set of shots recently and the doctor did not weigh her but said she looked to be approx 50-70lbs. She is currently eating Pedigree and I give her 3 cups, twice a day. Am i giving her the correct amount and also, Is her weight normal for a 6mth puppy. She seems to be a little bigger than i was told she'll be. How big can the females get?

Miserable Dog
Posted on 2008/02/11 by UserMy dog is about 15 years old. He normally gets very dry in the fall and winter but this year it has been especially bad. His skin is flaky and he has been itching so much that some of his exposed skin has turned black. He is half cocker spaniel and half golden retriever. I have given him a bath once or twice a week with Sulfodene and it seems to help for a day or two at most. When I bathed him I did notice 1 or 2 fleas but that's all I could ever find. What could this be? I have given him Brewer's Yeast pills to try to help with the skin condition but the success has been very limited. Is there anything else, short of taking him to a vet, that I can try?

Cat question
Posted on 2008/02/12 by AmandaHank is a 100% indoor cat, and has been vomiting lately. She does her normal hairball evacuation, but this vomit is partially digested food. Also i have noticed she has a yellowish ring around her eyes. She has greenish colored eyes so the yellow ring really stands out. Also she is a little standoffish, she is usually very affectionate. Any ideas?

Exposed to Ringworm, has no visual signs
Posted on 2008/02/12 by UserI adopted a cat on Saturday, and the foster parent said my cat may have been exposed to ringworm. When will i know if my cat not going to get it if she still has not shown any signs? I have kept her in one room, but would like her to go around the house once i know she isn't going to come down with ringworm. What should I be doing?
