Osteosarcoma
Posted on 2008/08/29 by UserMy 12 year old Labrador was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma and was given a prognosis of 6 - 12 weeks left to live (we are at the 5 week mark) Due to severe arthritis it has not been possible to have his leg amputated so he is basically just on pain killers. I think Franky may have a dry skin condition. He scratches alot and sometimes in his ears a lil often. I use the Spot On flea and tick control and have since the end of July. I wash him almost every 1-2 weeks because he tends to smell a lil strong with the heat. I wash him with Sentry flea and Tick control shampoo with oatmeal. Is there anything else I can do?

allergy question
Posted on 2008/08/26 by UserMy dog needs allergy medication badly. She is red, and itchy, and making herself bleed. There is no place open to take her until the a.m. Is there some kind of allergy medication I can give her to get her through the night until she can get her seasonal allergy meds in the a.m.? (i.e. Benedryl)

Prince has developed a cough. He coughs until he gags, but never throws up. He seems healthy otherwise and bodily functions are normal. Sometimes he coughs when he eats or when he gets excited. What could this be?

Twitching in my cat
Posted on 2008/08/28 by UserMy four year old male cat experiences twitching in his paws when drinking water or being pet. Sometimes, he almost loses his balance. He has been doing this for about a year. The vet said that he is sensitive but the twitching seems to be getting worse.
