Cockatiel health
Posted on 2007/12/16 by keithHi,I'd like your help and suggestions if possible. My 18 yr old cockateil seems to be behaving differently lately, we've noticed that he seems to now prefer to sleep and play at the bottom darker part of his cage.(he usualy always sleeps on his perches.) His large cage is always open for him to come out and fly around as he wishes. Lately he needs to be picked up by hand to get him to come out, very unusual for him because he usually likes to be out and about and sitting on our shoulders. The thing is, once he's on your hand he poos droppings once - (quite a large amount) and then he's back to normal. When he decides to return to his cage he choses to go back down to the...

need advice on symptoms
Posted on 2008/05/12 by User6 yr old male - strictly indoor. Six days ago he threw up two pinky sized fur balls. The next 2 days were dry heaves. The last two days are hacking-gurgling-wheezing sounds that start strong and taper off to a wet gurgle sound. He eats little to none - we're giving him baby food. He has not drank any water. When I wet his mouth with water drops, he reacts with the "hacking" after he licks the water. He went to the vet 2 days ago. Nothing shows on the xrays. No fever. He's urniated 3-4 times since his vet visit Saturday, and has had only one finger sized stool in the past 5 days. Any idea what this sounds like? A barium series and/or explority...

Stray cat drooling
Posted on 2008/03/10 by UserI am feeding a stray cat and I noticed he appears to be sickly. He has saliva dripping from his mouth and his eyes are droopy and has hair missing. He does eat like a horse so it doesn't appear to affect his appetite

Running off
Posted on 2008/02/29 by UserI just got a 4 year old female German Sheppard nearly 2 weeks ago. She is a wonderful dog and acts like a big loveable puppy. The only problem I have had so far is given the opportunity she will run off and not respond to my calls. I have tried to register but never received an email confirmation. I have tried to call but get disconnecte. Thank you!!!

I have a 2 yr old Fox Red Lab that seems to have allergy problems. He frequently sneezes, rubs his nose on the carpet, and sometimes has alot of discharge on his eyes. Would it be ok to give him Clariton or another generic form of Clariton?
