Hi, I have an issue with my feline. She is around 14 years old, and just recently we noticed and white and creamy substance coming from her backside, some times it is obsessive, and seems to be coming from her urinary hole. She doesnt show no signs of discomfort and she is eating properly, I was thinking it could be an infection in her bladder. What ca you tell me and what can i do?

Cat eats a lizard
Posted on 2009/09/18 by UserI caught Joe eating a very small lizard a couple of days ago. That night she threw up and the vomit was very liquid. Since then she has stopped eating anything solid. Any soft food I put down she licks the liquid off of, but leaves any solids. She will drink water and will urinate in her litter box. However she has not had a bowel movement for a couple of days. Other than this her behavior is normal if not a bit sluggish. Could my cat have been poisoned by the lizard and if so is there anything I can do at home?

PLEASE HELP!
Posted on 2009/08/29 by HeatherMy cat just sits over his water dish (as if to drink by osmosis) and sometimes I can get him to start drinking it...but when he first touches the water he kinda sneezes. I caught him sitting there earlier with his chin submerged in the water. WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP HIM? I DON'T WANT HIM TO DIE OF DEHYDRATION...Please Help.

Cat behaviour - very angry and anti-social
Posted on 2009/04/14 by JodyHello, My question (or more urgent advice sought!) is about my Siamese cat's behaviour. As a bit of background information, I moved my 2 x cats from Dubai (where I was working) to Europe for work. My job is in the UK and as my cats hadn't had the full '6 months wait' for the rabies test (they had 3 months to go before being let into the UK), I asked my brother and his family living in Holland to take care of them. They made the journey very well and arrived happy and calm, as we had previously moved from Singapore to Dubai where I was living previously, so they are well-accustomed to travel. The problem seemed to begin with my brothers' children (three young...

Disinfecting home and protecting a new...
Posted on 2009/03/27 by UserMy family adopted a kitten from a local italian market here. it was seemingly healthy and had a new kitten appt. scheduled for the following week. He never made it that far b/c he suddenly became ill and died at the vet ER of feline panleukopenia virus. Now we are in the process of adopting another kitten, a maine coon from a breeder. It has been vaccinated. I have not brought it home because I am afraid that even though it has had 2 sets of shots that it still might get infected from residual virus here in the house. Also the Mother died during childbirth so they were hand raised and missed out on the important colostrum. What can I use to clean and kill the virus in my...

Very Sick Cat
Posted on 2009/03/25 by UserWe live on a farm and have a stray cat that has been hanging around. We bought goats last week and one of them passed away yesterday. This morning the cat was lying on my porch, seemed almost paralyzed, unable to move except head, twitching, labored breathing. Any clue what it could be and do you think it could be related to whatever killed the goat?

Is Kitty OK?
Posted on 2009/03/15 by UserMy cat has barfed twice recently (not furball) and has come inside limping. This morning I checked and she was still limping. Why is this happening and are the barfing and limping related?
