Hello, our 12 week old puppy has had diarrhea for the past three days. We think it started from him eating the some of our other two adult dog's food. We bought some anti-diarrhea liquid which has kaolin and pectin and his stool turned alot more solid and partly white, which is the color of the liquid. We gave him boiled chicken with rice last night and he ate it no problem, but threw it up about 1 1/2 hour later. This morning his diarrhea was back with light blood in it, and he has no appetite. He doesnt't want to eat the chicken and rice. He has been drinking some water and his nose is moist- it was dry last night. Any suggestions before taking him to the vet?

Posted on 2008/10/01 by UserWe have a 10 day-old kitten, born prematurely, that has has not eaten in about 8 hours, has diarrhea with a little blood, and is VERY lethargic. Its weight is about 2.5 ounces. Is there anything we can do to help keep it alive overnight so we can get it to a vet in the morning?

my 8yr. female boston terrier who is in heat got sick last week having fresh blood out her rectum with no feces and a little vomiting i took her to the vet they said she had an inflammed intestine sent me home with amoxicillin and ant inflamatory meds now 1 week later she doesnt seem to have bms for 56hrs. any home remedies or baby laxitive i can give?

He is usually up and about and into everybody's business, but lately he has been isolated, shaky, eating grass, throwing up, and not doing any regular activities. His stomach feels hot and shaky, I'm just worried cause he has never acted this way before

Puppy sick
Posted on 2008/10/24 by Nickimy dog threw up last night - this morning she was acting normal, just very thristy. When i got home from work today she was extremly lethargic, moved very slow, and her eyes look very strange....almost like she is scared or in shock. the doc did intestinal tests and said nothing was wrong. she barely moves but when she does she will yelp like she is in pain. The doctor touched her all over and she didnt yelp at all. Any ideas about what might be wrong with her? they gave her two medications, an anti-biotic and intestinal pill.
