  • I adopted a dog (3 yr. old shih tzu, female) about a month ago. Suddenly she's eating her own poop and vomiting. Sometimes she strains as if she has to poop and nothing comes out, sometimes she strains and a small blob (like raw liver) comes out. I have never seen a dog with parvo, could this be symptoms of it? I recently lost my job and don't have money to see a vet right now, but if its parvo I know I have to do something. Sometimes she will throw up (clear or light yellow mucus). It's never her food that she throws up, and I recently witnessed her eating her own poop ( which really smells terrible). Are these symptoms of parvo?

  • Does Our Cat Have Stress?

Hi there, I have a cat whom we are guessing is about 4 or 5 years old. We have moved locations with our cat 3 times and are starting to notice unusual changes in its habits. Abers, our cat, is starting to bite himself to the point of excessive hair loss, he also has been losing excessive amounts of weight and not being his normal active self . We have tried compensating by feeding him both wet and dry food and it has helped some. In the past day we have discovered that Abers has bitten the end of his tail to the point of blood literally coming out over all the walls and carpets. You should also know Abers has not had his shots at all. As well, Abers lives in a house...
