sullivan vomited several times last night and had diarrhea all day today. he will only drink water after a walk. his temperature is normal, but i want to know if i should seek medical attention.

Vomiting blood?
Posted on 2007/11/20 by UserMy 1 year old chihuahua mix just threw up bile with a few flecks of blood in it. Can I hold out a few more hours until our vet is open, or go to the emergency vet???

intractable vomiting
Posted on 2007/11/27 by sergioplease help, I took my dog to the vet 2 days ago for vomiting and lack of appetite. my dog was diagnosed with GASTRITIS pb 2nd to infection. was given ranitidine every 12 hrs, metoclopramide /12 hrs, and antibiotic/12hrs. vomiting got better to 50% but he still vomits. appetite still gone. what other meds can be used as anti-emetics for a 6 m/o 8 lbs puppy. although Im not a VET I'm a MD myself and there's no other vet available around in this rural community. i'm ready to try anything. thanks, sergio

very puzzled
Posted on 2007/12/04 by Usermy dog passed away very suddenly yetserday it had been off its food all wekkend and wouldnt comeee out of the kennel on the saturday it was bein sik and on sunday night it had blood in its stools and was frothing at the mouth i was going to take it to the vets onmonday morning but it passed away. The dog was six month old springer spaniel and was up to date with all his jabs i dont understand what has caused his death

Sickness morning only
Posted on 2007/12/16 by DanielleMy cat is staying with my ex boyfriend for a month whilst Im away on business. He is in a new house and seems fine apart from he is being sick every morning and then is fine the rest of the day. He knows my ex boyfriend very well and is sleeping ok, cleaning himself ok - eating well, using litter etc, playing with his toys but he has been sick every morning so far - his nose is nice and wet though. Could this be a sign of stress from being in a new environment?? Its only in the mornings though. Regards Danni

Sick puppy not gaining weight
Posted on 2007/12/17 by MelissaMy 10 day old pup is not doing well, he is not gaining weight and he has vomitted twice, he is half the size of the second smallest pup. He is fighting to live, I feed him separately from the others so i know he got a good long feeding. I also hear a bit of rattling in his chest. is there anything i can do for him?

excessive licking
Posted on 2008/01/02 by UserMy dog, a 6year-old golden retriever-dashund mix,has been licking the hardwood floor and the carpeted area of our living room and vomit aferward. I crated him and he still kept licking the towel spread under him. He otherwise looks okay but this excessive licking is definitely not normal. Would there be a reason for that? We once noticed that he vomited what looked like a hairball.We now think it must have been another carpet licking session when we were not around.

Posted on 2008/01/10 by UserHi, I have a westi and I just arrived from a 2 weeks trip. I got him monday 7th and he has been vomiting and with diarrhea ever since. About 10 min ago he vomitted like 6 times. Should I take him to a hospital or should I wait?
